DR SCOTT BURGESS 

MBBS PhD FRACP

Dr Scott Burgess is a Paediatrician with subspecialist qualifications in Respiratory and Sleep medicine. He provides compassionate and high-quality care. Scott has expertise in managing problems associated with a child’s sleep, breathing and lung health. This includes being able to offer lung function testing, skin prick testing and home sleep studies in Hobart. 

Scott is based in Brisbane and visits Hobart fortnightly. He enjoys working with the team at Hobart Paediatric Group and also has an appointment at the Royal Hobart Hospital.



Dr Burgess graduated from the University of Queensland. He also holds post graduate degrees in both sleep and respiratory medicine from the University of Western Australia including a PhD and Post graduate certificate in Paediatric Sleep Medicine. He has four children of his own.
