Matt was born in Hobart, obtaining his medical degree through the University of Tasmania. He went on to complete his paediatric specialist training at the Royal Hobart Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital.     

 

Matt works part time at the Hobart Paediatric group and enjoys teaching medical students and junior staff.   

 

Matt loves working with children of all ages. He loves the diverse range of general paediatrics and has particular interests in paediatric respiratory medicine. He places emphasis on the family unit and a holistic approach to care.   

 

When not working Matt spends time with his wife, daughter and rabbit. On weekends Matt will be racing cars, game fishing and scuba diving. If asked he will gladly tell you about the one that got away!
