DR BEN NIND

MBBS, LLB, FRACP

After growing up in regional Victoria and graduating with his medical and law degrees from Monash University, Ben decided not to pursue a career in the legal profession and instead undertook his paediatric training between Tasmania and Melbourne.

Ben now consults between the Hobart Paediatric Group and as a Visiting Medical Specialist at the Royal Hobart Hospital. He also works as part of the neonatal roster at Calvary and Hobart Private Hospitals as well as attending patients at the Mother Baby Unit at St Helens Hospital.

Ben’s medical interests include general paediatrics, developmental and behavioural paediatrics, and infant medicine. He believes strongly in treating his patients within the context of their family unit and adopts a very holistic approach to patient care.
When not working, Ben spends his time with his wife, their three young children, four chickens and two rabbits.   If you are unlucky, Ben will start talking to you about football, movies and British murder mysteries.
