Dr Mudasir Mushtaq is a Consultant General Paediatrician and Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Mudasir is a dedicated Paediatrician interested in family-centred care and enjoys partnering with parents to holistically care for the growth and development of their children.
Mudasir is a Visiting Medical Specialist at The Royal Hobart Hospital. He also consults inpatient newborns at Hobart Private Hospital and Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital. Mudasir trained at The Royal Hobart Hospital and The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. He comes with extensive Paediatric experience in Tasmania, Victoria and overseas.
Mudasir’s interests range from general paediatric problems, such as constipation, daytime and night time wetting, sleep difficulties, asthma and other respiratory problems to developmental and behavioural issues such as ADHD and autism.
Mudasir is married to Tayiba, also a doctor and is father of a vivacious school aged girl who keeps him busy and active. Outside of work, Mudasir enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and playing and watching cricket.
