DR NAOMI TOMLINSON  

BMEDSC, MBBS FRACP GRADCERT (CLINICAL EDUCATION)

Naomi Tomlinson joined the Hobart Paediatric Group in 2015. Naomi was lucky enough to grow up here in Hobart and you may recognise her from your local supermarket, sports team or school! She graduate from her medical degree with first class honors from University of Tasmania and has worked locally, interstate and internationally since. 

During this time she has completed a Diploma in Child Health, a graduate certificate in medical education and achieved Fellowship of the Australasian College of Physicians as a Paediatrician. Naomi enjoys the role of general paediatrician so her practice is wide from caring for neonates and infants right through to adolescents getting ready to transition into adulthood. She is a Visiting Medical Officer for Hobarts two private maternity wards as well as the ‘Mother-Baby Unit’ at St Helens.
In addition she is a Staff Specialist Paediatrician at the Royal Hobart Hospital providing clinics and acute care on the ward. Naomi values ongoing education highly and so also has a role at the University of Tasmania teaching medical students. Naomi lives in Hobart because she loves the community and lifestyle, she works in paediatrics because her patients are awesome!
