About

Hobart Paediatric Group

Hobart Paediatric Group is a private paediatric practice established in 2008.  We have long been committed to providing the highest standard of care to Tasmanian children from birth through to adulthood.

Comprehensive Health Services

Conveniently located at the two hospitals providing private obstetric services, our team of paediatricians provide expert neonatal care, sharing the journey of parenthood with you right from the very beginning.

Most of our paediatricians are also appointed to the Royal Hobart Hospital,  providing you, your family, and your general practitioner,  with a clear path forward to meeting the health and developmental needs of your child, accessing the best of the public and private systems as required.

We are fortunate to have limited private child and adolescent psychiatrist services as well as paediatric physio and occupational therapy services involved in our practice.

We are happy to provide telehealth services to General Practices in more remote parts of Tasmania, and will also happily seek Telehealth support from Paediatric sub specialists interstate when needed.

Our Philosophy

We believe that providing the best for your child can only be achieved through a collaborative, well functioning team.

This starts with our friendly professional reception staff. They work closely with our doctors, sharing in their commitment to confidential, timely, high standard care.

We believe that having an ongoing relationship with the same dedicated paediatrician who knows your child and your family and their unique needs well, will make the sometimes difficult path of parenting and childhood illness easier.

Team Benefits

We recognise also the benefit of not working alone. At Hobart Paediatric Group each paediatrician is supported by a larger team of specialists with different areas of expertise and different experience and perspectives to call upon, all collaborating to achieve the very best for your child.
