Dr. Natalie Morgan

Dr Natalie Morgan is an experienced general paediatrician who cares for children and young people from birth through to adolescence and the transition into adulthood. She has experience in general and neurodevelopmental-behavioural paediatrics including feeding and growth difficulties, sleep and settling in the newborn period and beyond, continence and toileting challenges, and general management of children with complex, chronic health concerns. She enjoys providing care and support for children and young people who are neurodiverse, those with developmental differences, learning difficulties and physical disability including cerebral palsy. Natalie also has a special interest in Adolescent health and wellbeing including mental health conditions, eating disorders, and gender dysphoria.
Natalie takes a strength-based approach to child and adolescent healthcare. She loves working with children and young people, celebrating their individuality, and providing family-centered collaborative care to help her patients achieve their best health and wellbeing outcomes.
Natalie joined the Hobart Paediatric Group in 2021 when she returned to Tasmania from Victoria, having worked as a consultant paediatrician at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and Peninsula Health. Natalie grew up here in Hobart and studied medicine through the University of Tasmania, graduating with first class honours, before completing specialist paediatric training through the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospitals in Melbourne. Natalie was admitted as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Physicians as a Paediatrician at the beginning of 2019.
In addition to working part time at Hobart Paediatric Group, Natalie is a member of the neonatal team caring for newborns at Hobart Private Hospital and Calvary Health Care. Natalie is also a Visiting Medical Specialist at the Royal Hobart Hospital, looking after children and young people admitted to the hospital paediatric ward, and providing outpatient care in general paediatrics and adolescent medicine.
Natalie is an energetic mum to four young children, and in her spare time she loves spending time on the beach, tinkering on the piano and singing, and fostering a deep love of soccer in her kids!
