Dr. Mudasir Mushtaq

MBBS MD FRACP

Mudasir is a Consultant General Paediatrician and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Since 2017, he has been a key member of the Hobart Paediatric Group, providing dedicated, family-centred care. He believes in working closely with parents to support their child’s growth, development, and well-being.

Mudasir has also served as a Visiting Medical Specialist at the Royal Hobart Hospital since 2017, where he runs general paediatric outpatient clinics. He also provides inpatient newborn care at Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital, helping families navigate those precious early days. 

His training includes extensive experience at The Royal Hobart Hospital and The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, along with paediatric practice across Tasmania, Victoria, and internationally. As a general paediatrician, he enjoys the breadth of his field—caring for newborns and infants through to adolescents preparing for adulthood.

Outside of medicine, Mudasir stays active with running, badminton, and cricket, and cherishes time with his wife and two children.
