Dr. Alina Iser is an experienced and empathetic paediatrician. She feels privileged to share both difficult and joyous times with a child and their family.

Alina made the sea change to Tasmania in a red fire truck with her family. Prior to this she spent over 15 years working in Australia’s Red Centre based in Alice Springs where her role involved inpatient management of neonates to adolescents, as well as outpatient management of complex neuro-developmental and chronic disease presentations, outreach medical retrieval and clinics to remote communities.

She trained in paediatrics at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Sydney Children’s Hospital and in the United Kingdom. In addition to her paediatric training she has a masters qualification in bioethics  and has served on the ethics committee of the Royal Australian College of Physicians.

In her spare time, she enjoys discovering treasures in her backyard or travel to faraway places in reality or through stories.
